Job Title: Technical Investigator
Location: Thousand Oaks, CA (Hybrid)
Job Summary:
- Join our dynamic Complaints Trending and Investigation team as a Technical Investigator. You’ll be part of a diverse group dedicated to improving our clinical and commercial drug delivery devices, ensuring supply, and optimizing patient experience. This role requires an onsite presence of 80%, with flexibility to adapt as needed.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct device assessments of complaint samples using equipment such as CT scanners, SEM material analysis, and Instron testing machines.
- Author comprehensive assessment reports and communicate findings to management and cross-functional teams.
- Support investigations by performing characterization testing, data gathering, and analysis.
- Assist in the implementation, validation, and operation of lab equipment, including training personnel and maintaining equipment procedures.
- Participate in monthly lab safety inspections and report equipment repairs or maintenance.
- Collaborate with vendors to resolve issues and suggest improvements for equipment operation.
Skills Required:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Science, or Biomedical fields.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in complaints investigation within a development, manufacturing, post-market, or equivalent environment.
- Proficiency in lab environment and root cause analysis methodology.
- Experience in assessment writing, process and test development, and execution.
- Strong technical writing and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented and results-driven.
