Job Title: Technical Architect
Location: Remote
We are seeking a seasoned Technical Architect to support our client’s journey, with a primary focus on Onboarding. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing technology architecture blueprints and leading solution architecture activities that guide the development and management of technical, data, and infrastructure solutions for end-to-end client journey.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop future-state solution architecture in line with enterprise business context and design guidance.
- Analyze current technology environment to detect critical deficiencies and recommend solutions for improvement.
- Drive digital innovation by leveraging innovative technologies to renovate, extend, and transform the existing core technology base.
- Define high-level migration plans to address the gaps between the future and current state.
- Analyze and evaluate technology to ensure project meets the architectural and business requirements.
- Collaborate with business constituents, EA team members, project teams, and staff in various IT functional areas to deliver business outcomes.
Skills Required:
- Minimum five years of design and implementation experience in IT, with a deep knowledge in at least two technical disciplines such as infrastructure and network design, application development, APIs, middleware, servers and storage, database management and operations, clustering technologies, virtualization, cloud technologies, and Active Directory and protocols.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills in a technical context.
- Strong leadership and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of IT service management (ITSM) and Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL).
- Understanding of financial models and budgeting.
- Understanding of network and security architecture.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, system analysis, or a related study, or equivalent experience.
- Exposure to multiple, diverse technical configurations, technologies, and processing environments.
- Understanding of product management, agile principles, and development methodologies.
