Job Title: Specialist Import/Export
Location: Remote
Job Summary:
- Join our Global Trade and Customs Excellence (GTE) team, a central unit within the Trade Compliance function. We ensure seamless integration of policy and execution activities for imports and exports, supporting our entire organization to deliver our medicines timely and accurately. As a Specialist, you’ll be an integral part of this team, providing program oversight for trade compliance, establishing controls, and setting global standards for regional execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing transactions and brokers
- Handling import for export processes
- Maintaining documentation records
- Determining country of origin and classifications
- Writing, reviewing, and updating SOP documentation
- Partnering internally and externally
Skills Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Science, Biology, Chemistry, Customs & Trade, Logistics and/ or Supply Chain with 3 years’ experience in Trade Compliance or Import/Export operations OR Associate’s degree with 8 years’ experience OR High school diploma / GED with 10 years’ experience
- U.S. Licensed Customs Broker
- Experience with SAP GTS processes: Blocks, IDIS, EDIS
- Understanding of International Customs and World Trade Organization Regulations
- Knowledge of import/export processes in non-US countries
- Excellent oral and written communication, facilitation, collaboration, and executive presentation skills
