Job Title: SharePoint Developer

Job Responsibilities:

  • Utilize SharePoint expertise to enhance business processes and operational efficiency within the organization.
  • Independently troubleshoot and track end-user issues and requests with minimal supervision.
  • Collaborate with IT business analysts, subject matter experts, and stakeholders to understand business requirements and desired outcomes.
  • Monitor system performance, conduct tuning, and troubleshoot system hardware, software, networks, and operating systems.
  • Develop system access, monitoring, control, and evaluation strategies; establish and test disaster recovery policies and procedures.
  • Participate in product design reviews, providing creative and practical ideas in a team environment.
     

Skills Required:

  • Proficiency in the use of specialized hand and power tools, test meters, and related equipment for troubleshooting and maintenance.
  • Solid understanding of cloud-based infrastructure and Microsoft operating systems.
  • Familiarity with system configuration management using modern software tools.
  • Understanding of networking/distributed computing environment concepts; ability to configure file sharing and query DNS records.
  • Ability to work well independently or as part of a team.
  • Ability to respond to 24-hour call-ins, work varying hours, weekends, holidays, and perform stand-by duty as needed.
     

Education/Experience Requirement:

  • An Associate Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related field from an accredited college or university.
  • Possession of a valid Driver’s License.
  • Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) or similar computer certification is desired but not required.
     

Physical and Mental Demands:

  • Ability to withstand strenuous physical activities for extended periods of time including lifting, bending, carrying, crawling, and climbing.
  • Ability to withstand exposure to varying weather conditions.
  • Ability to understand and follow required safety procedures.
  • Ability to use oral and written communication skills, read documents or instructions; analyze and solve problems; observe and interpret data or information.
