Join Our Team as a Business Analyst!
We are seeking a talented Business Analyst to join our team, focusing on tax and accounting systems. As a key member, you will collaborate closely with accounting and tax professionals to gather, analyze, and prioritize requirements. You will translate these requirements into detailed user stories and acceptance criteria, ensuring alignment with project goals and regulatory standards. Your role will also involve coordinating User Acceptance Testing (UAT), driving process improvements, and maintaining meticulous project documentation
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct workshops with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements
- Translate requirements into clear user stories and acceptance criteria
- Work closely with development teams, QA testers, and stakeholders to support system design and development
- Develop and implement UAT plans to ensure compliance with requirements and regulatory standards
- Identify and propose enhancements to optimize existing processes and systems
- Maintain detailed documentation throughout the project lifecycle
- Act as a liaison between technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and understanding of project objectives
Top Technical Skills:
- Deep knowledge of US accounting and tax principles, regulations, and practices
- Proficiency in SQL and understanding of database concepts
- Experience with business analysis methodologies (e.g., BPMN, UML), Agile/Scrum, and Azure DevOps
- Familiarity with tax and accounting software or platforms
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently within a structured framework
Experience and Education:
- Minimum 6 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with at least 4 years focused on tax and accounting systems
- Proven track record in requirements elicitation, user story creation, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Project management experience managing multiple projects concurrently
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
