Job Title: Scrum Master 5
Location: Salem, OR
As a Scrum Master 5, you’ll be the guiding star for our Agile teams, ensuring smooth processes and successful product delivery. You’ll also mentor budding Scrum Masters, promote Agile practices, and liaise closely with stakeholders to achieve team objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and facilitate key Scrum events such as sprint planning, daily scrums, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and backlog refinement.
- Coach and mentor the team and other Scrum Masters, promoting self-organization, continuous improvement, and Agile principles.
- Identify and rectify process inefficiencies, advocating for changes that enhance team performance and delivery.
- Proactively identify and eliminate obstacles that impede team progress and delivery.
- Act as a bridge between the Scrum team and stakeholders, ensuring alignment and transparency.
- Track and report on key team metrics and sprint progress to ensure accountability and visibility.
Skills Required:
- Profound understanding of Agile and Scrum principles, including the Scrum framework, its events, artifacts, and roles.
- Ability to coach and mentor individuals and teams, guiding them in the adoption of Agile practices.
- Effective facilitation skills, capable of leading productive meetings and discussions.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with stakeholders, building consensus, and resolving conflicts.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously.
- Ability to identify and resolve conflicts constructively and proactively address problems, finding solutions that improve team performance.
