Job Title: MCS Senior Associate Quality Assurance

Location: Thousand Oaks, CA (Onsite)

Job Summary:

  • We are seeking a Senior Associate, Quality Assurance to join our dynamic team at our Thousand Oaks, CA facility. This role provides quality oversight on the manufacturing floor and supports critical Quality Assurance (QA) functions in a Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in QA for biopharmaceutical manufacturing, be detail-oriented, and have excellent problem-solving skills.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide quality oversight on the manufacturing floor in a 24/5 operation with rotating 3-month shifts.
  • Review electronic batch records and support inspections.
  • Approve SOP revisions and work orders in the Maximo System.
  • Provide quality support and approval for minor deviations and CAPA records.
  • Evaluate compliance issues and provide recommendations.
  • Represent the Quality Assurance department in the execution of projects.

Skills Required:

  • 2-5 years of QA experience in a biopharmaceutical GMP manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of aseptic techniques, gowning procedures, and presence inspection support.
  • Flexibility to rotate across all three shifts (morning, swing, and graveyard) every three months.
  • Excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic.
  • Experience in Quality Assurance for Manufacturing.
  • Detail-oriented and a team player.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Biochemistry, Biology, Chemistry, or related science field.
  • Experience managing projects through to completion meeting timelines.
  • Ability to evaluate documentation and operations according to company procedures.
  • Experience working with Quality Systems.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks at one time.
  • Demonstrated ability to work as both a team player and independently.
  • Display leadership attributes and drive improvement initiatives.
  • Solid understanding and application of aseptic behaviors and principles.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Master degree OR Bachelor degree and 2 years of experience OR Associate degree and 6 years of experience OR High school diploma / GED and 8 years of experience.
