Job Title: MCS Data Scientist
Location: Thousand Oaks, CA (Onsite)
Pay Rate: $62/hr – $64/hr
Job Description:
- We are seeking a Data Scientist to join our Manufacturing and Clinical Supply (MCS) team. This role offers a unique opportunity to develop and deploy data-driven tools for asset reliability monitoring across diverse MCS operations. You will interact with various MCS Facility and Engineering SMEs, contribute to strategic planning, and create dynamic platforms and data architecture.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and deploy asset performance monitoring tools using Data Analysis theories and principles.
- Develop, program, improve, automate, and deploy reliability models.
- Facilitate reliability centered maintenance assessments and collaborate with SMEs to apply six sigma methodologies for improving maintenance strategies.
- Train, perform, and develop reliability tools and procedures.
- Contribute to Reliability Engineering strategic planning and continuous improvement opportunities.
- Collaborate closely with Maintenance, Engineering, Manufacturing to understand and respond to the Voice of the Customer.
Skills Required:
- Experience with a variety of data analysis and modeling methods.
- Proficiency in Spotfire/Tableau, SQL, Python, R, and ability to develop advanced visualizations.
- Strong statistics and programming background with proven experience delivering on data analytics.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Engineering Degree and Manufacturing and Operations experience.
- Lean six sigma experience.
- Experience in Facilities & Engineering, Utilities is preferred
- Knowledge in Reliability is preferred but not required.
