Job Title: Lead Engineer
Location: Owings Mills, Maryland
Duration: 6 months
Key Responsibilities:
- Support and address the growth of our global Wi-Fi network, including updates, security vulnerabilities, and SSID adjustments.
- Manage and support Cisco ISE, our security policy management platform, ensuring compliance and effectiveness.
- Assist in the migration of our data center infrastructure, including Fabric Path, to our new core, providing configuration and operational support.
- Utilize your expertise in MAN/WAN technologies such as MPLS and SD-WAN to optimize network performance and reliability.
- Configure and operate Cisco Nexus switches and Catalyst 9400 platforms to support our network infrastructure.
- Implement and manage network segmentation and 802.1x authentication to enhance security and access control.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the migration of services to cloud infrastructure, ensuring seamless integration and performance.
Key Requirements:
- Strong knowledge and experience in network engineering, with expertise in Cisco technologies.
- Hands-on experience with Cisco ISE, Nexus switches, Catalyst 9400 platforms, and Fabric Path migration.
- Proficiency in MAN/WAN technologies, including MPLS and SD-WAN, to optimize network performance.
- Familiarity with Cisco vPC and its practical application in data center environments.
- Experience in addressing security vulnerabilities and implementing network segmentation.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to support various existing platforms.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure migration is a plus.
