Job Title: Financial Analyst
Location: Montvale, NJ or Chicago, IL (Hybrid)
Job Description:
- Join our team as a Financial Analyst, where you’ll play a pivotal role in our client’s finance transformation journey. You’ll be tasked with understanding, documenting, and improving current finance processes, technology, and controls. You’ll also collaborate with various stakeholders to design and document the future state finance operating model.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and document the existing finance operating model
- Perform detailed analysis of current data/metrics to identify areas for improvement
- Document stakeholders’ visions for the future state and desired outcomes
- Identify and document gaps, challenges, and opportunities for improvement
- Gather and document business and reporting requirements from key stakeholders
- Design and document the future state target operating model
Skills Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in finance transformation projects, involving process improvement and system implementation
- Experience as a finance consultant preferred
- Experience in one or more of the following process areas: Delivery Management, Contract to Cash, Source to Pay, Project to Result, Acquire to Retire, Record to Report, Chart of Accounts, Plan to Perform, Treasury
- Experience with SAP S4/HANA public cloud and/or Certinia (preferred)
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to travel 1-2 times a quarter
