Job Description:
- We are seeking a seasoned Communications Specialist with a knack for developing compelling communication strategies and materials. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of communication practices and tactics, and the ability to create engaging content for various media platforms.
Job Responsibilities:
- Facilitate a panel comprising representatives from underprivileged communities within our client’s service area.
- Gain comprehensive knowledge of our client’s EPIC Program and individual projects to lead insightful discussions.
- Drive these groups beyond conversation to achieve desired actions.
Skills Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science, Public Administration, Journalism, Writing Communications, or a similar field.
- 5-8 years of experience in developing communication materials and strategies.
- Proficiency in creating written or graphic communication materials for print, electronic media, and the Web.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong command of English grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
- Experience working with community organizations on engagement efforts and facilitating discussions.
- Understanding of the EPIC Program is preferred
- Ability to quickly assimilate knowledge and articulate it intelligently.
