Job Title: Cloud & Endpoint Security Engineer
Location: Columbus, OH (Hybrid)
Job Overview:
- Join our dedicated Cloud and Endpoint Security team, where we prioritize the protection of our digital assets and infrastructure. We’re looking for a skilled Security Engineer to enhance our cybersecurity framework, focusing on cloud environments and endpoints. You’ll play a key role in implementing security measures, collaborating with various teams, and staying updated with the latest cybersecurity trends.
Job Responsibilities:
- Refine and configure cloud security tools for prevention, detection, and reporting.
- Collaborate with DevOps and patch teams for timely remediation of vulnerabilities and misconfigurations.
- Work with the incident response team to enhance alerting and logging capabilities.
- Contribute to the development of security strategies in line with business objectives and industry best practices.
- Stay abreast of the latest cybersecurity threats and technologies, incorporating them where applicable.
- Support the creation and maintenance of incident response plans and secure access protocols.
Skills Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a SOC, Cloud security, IT, or related cybersecurity field.
- Proficiency in Azure, AWS, GCP, or other cloud services (IaaS, PaaS, or SaaS) with at least 3 years of experience.
- Experience with cloud security solutions, EDR, and posture management products.
- Familiarity with security frameworks such as NIST 800-171, MITRE, ISO 27001, or similar.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Prisma Cloud or similar CSPM/CNAAP tools.
- Knowledge of scripting/automation tools (Python, PowerShell, or Bash) for configuration and reporting.
- Relevant industry certifications such as Sec+, CCSP, or GIAC.
- Strong analytical abilities, including process analysis and development, problem-solving, and root cause analysis.
