Job Title: Business Analyst
Job Responsibilities:

  • Act as a bridge between end-users, technical teams, and project stakeholders
  • Lead moderate requirements-gathering sessions
  • Identify and translate non-functional business requirements into functional specifications for software/app development
  • Develop and document scoping documents, detailed business requirements, use cases, user stories, process flows, and work instructions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish project scope, vision, and timelines
  • Conduct research to identify technology solutions that will enhance business operations

Skills Required:

  • Minimum three years of recent experience in a similar role
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university
  • Prior experience working with Agile/ Scrum Methodology
  • Exceptional verbal/written communication, presentation, and analytical skills
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Additional Skills:

  • Solid understanding of US GAAP accounting principles, journal entries, and the difference between sub-ledgers and general ledgers
  • Experience working with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and handling large volumes of data
  • Experience in creating user stories using an agile method
  • Knowledge of Accounting ERP, SAP & Oracle is a plus
  • Experience in working on Reporting preferably in Power BI
  • Experience in requirement elicitation for web app-based solutions
  • Open to the opportunity of Overtime
  • Willingness to participate in Workshops once per month (3-5 days) on-site workshops East Coast to Dallas
