Job Title: Business Analyst
Job Responsibilities:
- Act as a bridge between end-users, technical teams, and project stakeholders
- Lead moderate requirements-gathering sessions
- Identify and translate non-functional business requirements into functional specifications for software/app development
- Develop and document scoping documents, detailed business requirements, use cases, user stories, process flows, and work instructions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish project scope, vision, and timelines
- Conduct research to identify technology solutions that will enhance business operations
Skills Required:
- Minimum three years of recent experience in a similar role
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university
- Prior experience working with Agile/ Scrum Methodology
- Exceptional verbal/written communication, presentation, and analytical skills
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Additional Skills:
- Solid understanding of US GAAP accounting principles, journal entries, and the difference between sub-ledgers and general ledgers
- Experience working with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and handling large volumes of data
- Experience in creating user stories using an agile method
- Knowledge of Accounting ERP, SAP & Oracle is a plus
- Experience in working on Reporting preferably in Power BI
- Experience in requirement elicitation for web app-based solutions
- Open to the opportunity of Overtime
- Willingness to participate in Workshops once per month (3-5 days) on-site workshops East Coast to Dallas
