Job Title: Attorney
Location: Overland Park, KS (Onsite)
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Attorney to join their dynamic team. This role is integral to the company’s operations, providing legal guidance on a wide range of supply chain management and transactional operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive legal advice on various aspects of supply chain management, including procurement, construction subcontracts, technical services, and IT operations.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of supply chain contracts, commercial contracts, software agreements, and licensing contracts, ensuring the company’s interests are well protected.
- Advise on legal and commercial risks associated with transactional activities, ensuring strict compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Develop and implement risk management strategies and policies to mitigate potential legal risks in the supply chain.
- Manage and resolve disputes related to supply chain issues, including contract breaches and regulatory compliance, in a timely and efficient manner.
- Stay abreast of legal developments and industry trends impacting the supply chain, software, technology, and IT sectors, and advise the company accordingly.
Required Qualifications:
- A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- An active license to practice law in Kansas or other relevant jurisdiction.
- Proven experience in supply chain, subcontracts, construction, and IT contracts.
- In-depth knowledge of supply chain operations, procurement, logistics, and distribution.
- Familiarity with international contract negotiations and data protection laws (e.g., GDPR).
- Experience with SaaS agreements, software licensing, cloud services agreements, and IT outsourcing contracts.
Education:
- A law degree from a recognized institution. Licensed to practice law in at least one jurisdiction.
- Language Proficiency:
- Proficiency in English (Speak, Read, Write)
- Certifications & Licenses:
- Certification in supply chain management (e.g., CSCP, CPSM)
- Licensed to practice law in at least one jurisdiction
