Job Title: Sr Network Permitting Specialist
Location: Columbia, MD (Hybrid work schedule with in-office days on Tuesday through Thursday and remote work on Monday and Friday)
Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of submitting and acquiring entitlements and agreements needed for the installation of our client’s infrastructure.
- Represent our client before local agencies, jurisdictional planning authorities, and city councils.
- Negotiate access agreements for our client’s use of public right-of-way and private property as necessary.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues, facilitate progress, and achieve milestone targets.
- Maintain the integrity of project tracking data and act as the single point of contact for internal and external customers.
- Handle resident complaints escalated to our Network Operations Center.
Skills Required:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in wireless services/site acquisition, external/regulatory/governmental affairs consulting, or a comparable industry.
- Experience in public speaking and dealing with governmental entities.
- Familiarity with the preparation of permit applications, construction documents, and network construction.
- Experience working on goal-driven, cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of the rules and policies of the federal Telecommunications Act, State statutes, and local ordinances governing telecommunications networks.
