Job Title: Risk Specialist
Location: Pittsburgh, PA (Hybrid)
Job Summary:
- We are seeking a Risk Specialist to develop and execute risk management strategies for our client’s business lines. This role requires expertise in operational and technology risk management, regulatory compliance, and internal controls. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance risk management capabilities and ensure adherence to business and regulatory expectations.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and oversee the execution of risk management strategies and programs for our client’s business lines.
- Ensure risk management strategies meet business and regulatory expectations.
- Monitor changes in internal and external factors to identify emerging risks.
- Lead and engage cross-functional teams to develop internal capabilities.
- Provide risk expertise while collaborating with other risk partners.
Skills Required:
- Experience in operational/technology risk programs.
- Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint.
- Experience with GRC tools (Archer preferred).
- Experience in developing and managing internal risks and controls.
- Experience with technology risk within financial institutions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience in 1st, 2nd line risk management or internal audit.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- 5-7 years of experience in a similar role.
Preferred Skills:
- Proficiency in Visio and Tableau.
- COSO certification.
- Analytical background/data proficiencies (data mapping).
- Experience with KY3P (know your third party).
- CISA and/or CRISC certifications.
- ISACA Certification.
