Job Title: Construction Manager
Location: Chandler, AZ
Job Summary:
- As a Construction Manager, you will be the go-to expert for all construction-related matters on our projects. This includes vendor selection, on-site management, and coordination of subcontractors, OEM installers, and customer representatives. You will oversee projects related to tower construction/modification, DAS, small cell projects, and associated inside & outside plant construction methods. Your role will ensure all projects are completed within the agreed timeline and budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advise and influence decisions of District and/or Program and Project Managers in all aspects of construction work.
- Participate in and make recommendations in the vendor selection process.
- Attend deployment and other customer meetings as a subject matter expert.
- Develop customer relationships that may result in influencing customers to award service work to our client.
- Make regular trips to sites during construction including bid walk, precon walk, in-progress site visits, punch walks, and construction closeout.
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with our client’s construction standards, processes, and procedures.
Skills Required:
- Minimum three (3) years of telecommunications/wireless construction experience.
- Knowledge of Venue Construction techniques (rooftops & poles) for small cell solutions.
- Familiarity with test equipment and techniques for performing RF Sweep test, OTDR, Power Meter, and Passive Intermodulation (PIM) testing for SCS.
- Working knowledge of NESC, NEC, and OSHA standards.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints.
- Strong computer skills – MS office and project management software knowledge.
