Job Title: Senior Project Manager
Location: Thousand Oaks, CA (Onsite)
Pay Rate: $74/hr – $76/hr
Job Description:
- We are seeking a Senior Project Manager with a strong background in process/utility engineering to support our manufacturing plant and engineering group. This role is not solely quality background driven, but requires a comprehensive understanding of engineering technicalities.
Responsibilities:
- Lead project engineering and construction activities in alignment with engineering workstreams.
- Ensure new GMP equipment is installed and maintained in a validated state.
- Work in partnership with maintenance, Project Management, Engineering Technical Lead, and manufacturing teams to develop and oversee the operation and reliability of equipment.
- Collaborate closely with Environmental Health Safety Services (EHSS) and Quality Assurance (QA) for compliance.
- Support projects in defining strategies for quality systems verification.
- Collaborate with the process development/validation team to develop and document appropriate practices for characterization.
Skills Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or another science-related field.
- 2+ years of relevant work experience with 1+ years’ experience in operations/manufacturing environment.
- Experience with regulated environments (FDA, OSHA, EPA, etc.).
- Knowledge of cGMP procedures and engineering practices on pharmaceutical/biotech production processes.
- Experience implementing risk-based verification on major GMP process equipment/automation projects.
- Strong communication and technical writing skills.
- Proven problem-solving and applied engineering skills.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
