Job Title: Proposal Strategist
We are seeking a Strategic Proposal Specialist to our their dynamic team. This role is integral to the business development process, requiring a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of how to craft compelling proposals that win business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and execute proposal plans, including the orchestration of the Request For Proposal (RFP) release process, end game, and checkmate for our client’s business development proposals.
  • Collaborate effectively with business development and project management leadership to create distinctive value propositions that enhance our client’s competitive position in the market.
  • Lead proposal development efforts, including the creation of storyboards, development of win strategies, delegation of proposal team tasks, and the formulation of initial proposal management plans.
  • Oversee the review of go/no-go decisions, official proposal kickoff meetings, and the development of graphics and visuals to enhance proposal quality.
  • Support the development of key performance metrics, including change orders, safety, budget, schedule, diversity goals, and community involvement activities.
  • Represent our client at professional associations, conferences, and trade shows, and build a professional network that benefits our client’s business development efforts.

Required Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, communications, business administration, or a related field, and a minimum of 4 years of experience in marketing, business development, or sales within a professional services firm.
  • Prior experience at an Architecture/Engineering (A/E) firm is highly desirable.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Adobe InDesign is strongly preferred.
  • Certification as a Proposal Management Professional (APMP) is a plus.
